FUNDRAISE WITH FAMILY OR FRIENDS
Want to fundraise for TTF but don’t want to do it alone, there are many ways you can engage your family and friends through fun events including:
  • Come dine with me – take it in turns to cook for your friends, with a cover charge of $10 per person per dinner  - you can experience fine dining, whilst raising money for a good cause
  • Clothes swaps – want to revive your wardrobe on a budget? Ask each of your friends to donate five items of clothing/ accessories they no longer use to your clothes swap, charge $10 -$20 entrance fee - everyone leaves with 5 new items of clothing for a minimal cost and a definite good feeling
  • Cocktail making classes – find out how to make your favourite drinks and charge your friends to learn your new found skills
  • Nontraditional Sports days - forget about the regular olympics try the fun olympics - put together teams of friends to compete against each other taking part in the egg and spoon race; three legged race; wheelbarrow race; sack race; boot throwing; and  apple bobbing and charge a small fee for entry.

FUN WITH COLLEAGUES/ CLASSMATES
There are many ways you can engage you classmates or colleagues in a fundraising activity, increasing awareness of TTF and raising wider amounts of money:
  • Traditional bake sale – host a baking competition amongst the best bakers you know and charge for your friends to indulge in the cakey goodness
  • Silence is golden – are you known as the office/ classroom chatterbox – hold a sponsored silence, with people paying to see if you can make it through the day
  • Fancy Dress Fridays – everyone loves a bit of fancy dress, why not invent a theme and get your whole school or office to dress up in aid of TTF, charging a small fee
  • Raffle off some goodies – as local business to donate prizes to a raffle; like a meal at a local restaurant; a massage or something for the home - sell tickets to raise money for a good cause.
  • Call on your workplace Corporate Social Responsibility – does your office have a CSR policy, would TTF be a potential beneficiary? Put our name forward as a candidate for support.
