Yanga Katongo is the Finance Manager at Lusaka International Community School (LICS). She has over 18 years of varied experience in the main accounting fields which include audit and assurance in a Big 4 accounting firm (pwc); financial management services in a private practice (MJM Associates) focusing on serving retail, tourism, advertising, agriculture and education sectors and offering various accounting solutions. Accountants (CIMA). She is also a Council of International Schools (CIS) Accreditation Evaluator and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Zambia.
She is a Non-Executive Director at When Females Lead (WFL). She has served as a Council Member for ZICA; was on the Executive of the Forum for Zambia Women Accountants (FZWA) and on the Zambia Branch Committee of CIMA. Yanga has been an observer for the International Accounting Education Standards Board (IAESB) of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) in London, New York and Johannesburg.
