In August 2014, Tiny Tim and Friends began working with a French NGO, Dessine Moi un Lion (translated as Draw me a Lion), run by Nancy Farrell (pictured).
Nancy is an old friend of Tim's and a huge advocate of the work of TTF. Nancy and the famous French actress Isabelle Adjani (who is the Patron of Dessine Moi un Lion) have set up the organisation as a grant giving body to support NGOs in generating funds from overseas, specifically France. Nancy recently spent two months in Zambia helping to set up a children's art room at the new TTF Clinic and learning more about our work to support our fundraising efforts. The art room will offer a space for children to be creative and have some time out whilst visiting the clinic with their families, siblings or care givers. The art room opening was a great day, offering children the chance to play, draw and read within our creative centre. Whilst we are in the process of relocating the TTF Clinic the art room is not yet in full use, but stay posted in the new year to hear about how children are making use of our new facility. Nancy is currently in France working with Isabelle to promote Tiny Tim and Friends and helping to raise additional funding for our work. You can learn more about the work she is doing through the Dessine Moi un Lion website.
